Criminal Cases in the Klickitat County Courts
Klickitat County uses three trial-court counters. Superior Court hears felonies at the Goldendale courthouse. The County Clerk in Room 204 files and indexes the Superior Court criminal case record. East District Court, in Room 107 of the same building, hears misdemeanors and gross misdemeanors from the eastern side and City of Goldendale matters. West District Court at Pioneer Center in White Salmon hears the same lower-level classes on the western side. It also serves as municipal court for White Salmon and Bingen.

Klickitat Court Records by Room
One Goldendale address contains several custodians, so the room number matters. The County Clerk is at 205 S Columbus Avenue, Room 204, Goldendale, WA 98620, and answers at 509-773-5744. East District Court is in Room 107 and answers at 509-773-4670. The prosecutor is in Room 106, while the sheriff is in Room 108. A request handed to the wrong counter can seek a record that office never created.

Klickitat Court Document Workflow
The Klickitat County Clerk links readers to Odyssey for Superior Court viewing and provides a separate Document Request path. Some material may be visible online but unavailable for download. When that happens, record the full case number, court, document title, and docket date. Then send the request to the Clerk and state whether a plain or certified copy is needed.
Certification is an official clerk attestation. It differs from printing a browser view. The Clerk has also warned that its fee schedule changed on June 11, 2026, so an older copied fee should not be used. Point & Pay charges are transaction fees: payments through $75 carry a $2 charge, while larger payments carry 2.7 percent. Those amounts do not establish the price of a court-record copy.

What the Case File Shows
A Klickitat County criminal case file records what the prosecutor filed and what the court did. It can carry the case number, court, case type, filing date, party role, charge text, statute, degree, status, docket events, hearing dates, warrants, plea or trial result, judgment, sentence, and legal financial obligations. Documents and redactions vary. The best proof of an outcome is the filed judgment or disposition entry, not a booking label or a calendar listing.

East District Court posts criminal dockets for the second Thursdays and third Mondays at 9:00 and 1:30. Its official page tells readers to call the court or attorney to verify. The south-side COURTS drop box is near the jail entrance, but it is for court filings, not sheriff public-record requests. West District Court links weekly dockets and serves both White Salmon and Bingen in its municipal role.
A calendar only shows scheduled court business. It does not confirm that someone remains in custody, that a warrant is active, or that a hearing went forward. Use the docket for case events, then call the named court when the schedule affects a visit or filing deadline.

Access & Restrictions
Washington court access rules do not make every field public. General Rule 15 addresses sealing, destruction, and redaction, while GR 31 governs court-record access. Juvenile records follow chapter 13.50 RCW. Public views may redact birth dates, victim information, addresses, personal identifiers, and protected juvenile material. Sealed content may not appear at all.
If a known Klickitat County criminal court case does not appear, check spelling and court selection, then ask the relevant clerk about the case number and access status.
